The 7th Annual Prostate Cancer Advocacy Symposium: A National Summit in Detroit brings together patients and spouses; local, national, and international advocates; physician-scientists and researchers; and representatives from industry and government to explore critical topics in prostate cancer. The summit will also feature presentations from three-time baseball All-Star, prostate cancer survivor and Men Who Speak Up spokesman Ken Griffey Sr. as well as The Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials Consortium, LLC (PCCTC) CEO, Jake Vinson, and PCCTC physician-scientist Susan Slovin, MD, PhD of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The event is organized by Elisabeth I. Heath, MD, FACP, esteemed PCCTC investigator and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center’s Director of Prostate Cancer Research.
